On Wednesday May 7, 6:30 pm Don Tredinnick will discuss Pollinator Photography. Are you fascinated by all the insects buzzing around your garden? Pollinators do all the work to ensure that there are plenty of flowers, fruits and vegetables for us to enjoy. But, what about trying to capture images of these amazing creatures?
Pollinators make great subjects. (Did you know that bees are fuzzy?). But, they can be a real challenge to photograph. Some won’t let you get too close. Others might attack you. Some just don’t care, and you can get as close as you want. Another challenge is that they typically do not stay at one spot very long, and they are very fast.
During this lecture, Don will share some tips related to photographing the butterflies and bees that visit your gardens. The great thing is that you don’t need much in the way of fancy equipment. You can also do this type of photography in any type of light.
