Portfolio Title: Monochrome Lake Superior
Statement of Intent: I had experimented with the Silver Efex Pro 2 previously and decided to use it on some of my winter shots of Lake Superior. Overall, I’ve liked the effect. The filters bring out the elements that define the lake in the winter like ice, waves, and fog and contrast it with the water, rocks, and trees. A lot to learn as I still don’t look at scenes with the eye that looks for tonal contrast.
