“Badlands Adventure”

On Wednesday, May 24, 6:30 pm, J. Arthur Anderson will give a presentation titled, “Badlands Adventure”.  This presentation will describe the opportunities available at the Badlands National Park related to landscape and nature photography.   J. Arthur will provide information about the broad array of wildlife present in the Badlands, including details about when, where and how to shoot within the park.  He will provide information about photographic technique and the equipment needed to be successful.  And, he will cover issues related to extreme weather and the safety concerns associated with photographing buffalo and other large animals in the wild.  This meeting will be in-person only.

J. Arthur Anderson has over 40 years of experience in photography.  He is an avid nature/wildlife photographer but has also focused his efforts on community photography, photojournalism and social advocacy.    He has spent a lot of time traveling to the Badlands the past two decades, photographing magnificent landscapes and capturing images of buffalo, big horned sheep, and bobcats.   His photos have been published in various newspapers and magazines.   They have also been used by the National Park Service for educational purposes.    His photography can be seen at http://www.jarthuranderson.com
