On Wednesday, November 15, at 6:30 pm John Pennoyer will present a program “Light on the Landscape”. This will be an in person meeting only. Photography is always all about the Light and it is no different for landscape photography. In this session John will be discussing light and how it affects your imagery on the landscape. Backlighting, side lighting, cloudy days, etc. will be discussed and also the use of filters to help control difficult lighting situations.
John Pennoyer grew up in Kalispell, MT where he spent most of his young life outdoors until he traveled to Minnesota for school. He worked as an automotive technician and then an Instructor himself with General Motors for 24 years! Pennoyer started photography as a hobby that soon found him selling his images to publishers. He has been teaching photography classes and workshops since the early 2000’s. He shared with our group WWPC in 2022 “Shooting on the Fly”. John has served as president of the Minnesota Nature Photography Club where he is an active member today. “My camera and lenses have always been Nikon but they are just the tools to get the image, it is the photographer’s vision to create the image.” ~John Pennoyer
