It’s July again, and time for our third annual Scavenger Hunt! We will meet at 6:30 pm, July 11, in the River room at the Phipps. We’ll have ice cream treats to kick off the evening, and, since I’ll be out of town that week, Pete Mutschler and Richard Hudson will give you a list of ten subjects to shoot in downtown Hudson and along the river that evening. These scavenger hunts have always produced an amazing variety of images; it’s a great opportunity to stretch your imagination.
Unlike the past two years, we’ll have our treats first, so you can shoot into the evening, but all shooting has to be completed by midnight. You’ll have one week to process and submit your images and we’ll post them in a gallery. Every participant who captures all of the items on the list will receive a prize. Other prizes will be awarded based on popular vote by the participants. For inspiration, here’s a gallery of the 2017 Scavenger Hunt.
In case we get rained out a new blog post will be made cancelling the meeting and there will be an alternate date set at a later time.
