At our last meeting, Bryan (this month’s Spotlight Member!) did a little light painting on some trees in his self portrait shot. I thought it would be fun to give it a try myself. My daughter was gracious enough to be my subject, again, as we waited until dark and tried some different flashlights. It was real easy and pretty fun! Take a look!

Also, our next meeting is August 7th and the tutorial will be on speedlite flash photography.
And don’t forget that time is running out for submitting to the Garden Club Calender. Quality shots from around our fair community are needed (in particular shots from Fall) but any season is welcome. Our Club has had several members in the past make it in so let’s help Terry and the Garden Club out! This also helps keep our City looking good. The format is 8 1/2 x 11 (horizontal). Send high resolution RGB jpegs to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 31st!
